Shooting fire out exhaust!!! ewww
Well i jus got my powershifting down pretty good but everytime i powershift a gear it back fires n shoots fire out tha exhaust!!
must admit sounds n looks cool but i dont think its supposed 2 dew that right!!
i thought i was my rev limiter on my msd 6AL box so i raised it on my 2 step from 6200 2 6400 but still does it!!! i think it might be 2 much fuel but not so sure because, my car is carbed, barry grant is tellin me 2 always giv it more fuel so i jus put bigger squirters on tha carb n performs well but lookin 2 stop tha fire shootin dispite how cool it looks any advice!!

im guessin its really outta tune but im kinda ify 2 get it dynotuned not so sure
if it will improve time or jus improve tha # on tha dyno machine!! found a shop that would dynotune it 4 250!!!

18 degrees base timein with a 28 degree mechnical advance !!
if im not mistakin its fully advanced at 2500 rpms it runs its best times at that timin havent tried advancing past 18 degrees though tried 12 14 n 16 n boo 2 all of those lol

If it still does it, you know its not out of tune to run right.
dyno tunes are more worth it then, lets just see what it does runs.
Sort of typical for a stick as that quick sex to shift, can load raw fuel into the pipes.
Hit jcwhitney and look for the xhaust tips that have flaps in them. Not flappers but a pressure controlled flap that will not let it pop n shoot fire as it can't load up, when out pressure drop it slams shut and stopps that. Suppose to raise mileage some as yout not dumpin raw fule into xhaust anymore on shifts.

I'd second that. I know what English as a second language looks like on paper, and that's not it. That's not even "don't-give-a-****" typing. We have a lot of practitioners of "DGAS" typing on this board... And I'm one of the new guys, and I type good... I mean WELL!
