Default Are These Numbers Low-Trick Flow Top End Kit

My friend has a 94 Vert with a Trick Flow Top End Kit...mods as follow:

TFS intake
TFS Twisted Wedge heads
TFS Track-Max cam
TFS rockers

BBK 75mm tb
75mm Summit MAF sensor,
MAC CAI,
30# injectors

BBK equal length ceramic headers with CATCO H Pipe and Borla Cat Back

He is putting down 277rwhp and 306rwtq...seems low to us

What are others putting down with a similar set up?

We thought closer to 300rwhp....is it the Cats? or maybe the summit maf?

Thanks

The thing that puzzles me is that he put down 256rwhp with most of the mods above and then he added the Twisted Wedge Heads and the Cam and only picks up 20rwhp???????

I should also add that this car underwent significant tuning...

A lot of people end up not satisfied with the TFS. I've heard that the holly kit make more power.

TFS kits, that i've seen so far, dont break 300rwhp. the systemax kit from holley however easily breaks 300 rwhp, they actually claim 350rwhp with the holley kit. ICEMAN, an old member of ours, ran that on his car with other little bolt ons and IIRC he ran in the 12's easy.

Well trickflow sais that theyre numbers are based on a 306, although i dont see that making much more power.

this is verbatim(sp?) as it states when you buy their stuff either on the website or in the magazine.

"*Kits were dyno-tested on a 306 c.i.d. flat-top engine with 9.5:1 compression, 70mm throttle body, 190lph pump, Mass Air, and 10* base timing."

i think its been said before that the numbers are probably crank horsepower and not rear wheel numbers so they may be around the correct area
