Default Need to know if it is a good d


I can get motor and tranny out of a 76 Lincoln Mark V. The motor is a 460 and I'm not sure if the tranny is a c6, maybe someone could help me out. I know that some 460 are better than others to look for but I'm not sure which ones or why. If I buy the motor and tranny it will be to make a bracket racer out of my 87 GT. So, I plan on having the motor built. I can get motor, tranny, and 9" rear with disks for around $500. Oh and the car still runs and drives. </P>

A freind of mine bought the car for $50 bucks and drove it home. Some old lady wanted it out of her yard.<IMG src=smileys/smiley19.gif border="0">
