If your car is easily re-assembled to run do so, then drain and fill then run. making sure to get the motor up to norm operating temp. this way you know you have equal mix throughout the system. If to far disassembled, how far?

can you take the t-stat out so it dont restict flow, then blow the water out of the block by mouth and the radiator hose. well thats how i cleaned my system before filled with antifreeze. it got all the junk out from a little corrosin that was in there, i would think then you could put antifreeze back through the upper radiator hose after you blow all the water out, thats my 2 cents

see if you can get to the block drains ones on the passenger side of car in front of motor mount and the other in front of the bell housing on drivers side they are allen head plugs. after ya drain the rad pull these and it should drain the block, also i have run a water pump with an electric motor before so im sure ya could do it with an electric drill
