ok here it goes....last wednesday i take my 94 gt 5 speed to the track (everything stock) i pull out a 15.1 at 94 mph... well this morning i get my gears done ( 3.73's) and now my best run was a 15.4 at 88mph. the car isnt spinning the tires coming out of the hole and i get a lil chirp in 2nd gear and thats it. can anyone tell me why my car lost so much power in 1 week???? any comments will be answered.. just ask me what i have done or tell me to try something. thanx

Weather can play a very big role, but I don't think it can explane that big of a loss. Lets start with the basics. Can you post up both your time slips? Just type them in a post like they appear on the slip, like this.

i have shifted at like 5800rpms last week at the track and this week at the track. im just so dissapointed that i just spent 500$ and lost time at the track.. my buddy ran a 15.1 in my car last week with the 2.73 gears and this week he could only run a 15 flat with the new 3.73... he has the same car and everything and when he got his 3.73's it dropped him from a 15.1 to a 14.7..i just feel like burning my car to the ground now.. plz tell me something...im launching around 3000 rmps and just rolling the clutch out not letting it bog down...the tires dont spin at all and the car doesnt bog.

hey maybe your car is just a piece of ****, thats what it sounds like, either that or you just don tknow how to drive, i have a 78 camero , u wouldnt stand a chance

why do you have to be such an *******???? i just bought the car a week ago from today. im trying to get help to get into the 14's for now.

maybe you burnt yer clutch out
try going about 30 in 4th or 5th and slam the gas if it bogs your fine if the engine revvs call up summit

nah my clutch is fine it doesnt rev at all. maybe i should get new tires. would that make a big difference so i can launch harder?

when i first ran the car it had about 25% life left on the tires and i could launch at like 4500 rpms and drop the clutch and it would just bog and almost stall out..now w/ the new gears and 5% tires i could drop it from 2500 rpms and it would spin like a ****. should the tires make that big of a difference?
