W/ an aftermarket set up, that paw is deleted. Why are you so insistent on putting that stock crap back in the car?

the stock pos plastic one has 2 parts, the quad and that pawl. YES it IS replaced with the quadrant in an aftermarket kit. the stock one sucks. i run a ford racing quadrant and cable in BOTH of my cars and the pedal feels much better than before. just DITCH it and listen to the guys on here
