302 setup question

Default 302 setup question

Hey guys looking for a little help on a car im looking at.Here is what the guy says it has in it.Questions are how much power should it be making.He said the set up was fresh and hadn't got it tuned or dynoed or taken to the track.He only wanted $2800 thought I would ask people who knew alot before I really thought about it.Thanks guys and God bless

Motorsport 302 crate motor
351 Windsor heads (matched and ported, 2.02" valves)
Motorsport f303 billet roller cam

280-290 rwhp most likely and most likely capable of 12.70's to 12.80's??

BUY IT! worse case you should be able to make money on it. take it to the track and run it if you don't like it run it with a for sale sign on it.

yes, hell whats in the drivetrain alone is worth the price of the car... get it before someone else does...

yea it sounded cheap to me too and im dumb to all the specifics of the motor.

Thats sounds like a great deal. No matter what the body is like. If the motor is still in good shape it will run for years and years. My guesstimate fr HP#s would be around 350 at the fly wheel which is damn good. Go for it man.

Why are you still here, and not out buying the car? Make sure the guy is not BSing you. Look under the hood, and verify to the best of your ability what he is saying it has is true. Have him point the stuff out. Drive it and make sure it runs well and pulls hard, and go for it.
