notchy shifter...

I dunno what it is, but sometimes my shifter just feels more "notchy" than usual, dunno maybe if I need to adjust the stops (how do I do that)... the trans has fresh fluid in it since it just had the clutch done...

I am running the steeda tri-ax that was on the car at purchase... all that is changed is that I have the forged handle, due to the old one snapping....

I wanna upgrade to a pro 5.0 shifter or an MGW, leaning more towards the MGW... but funds dont allow at this time...

I havnt grinded any gears in months, and I always put it in 1st before I go to reverse....

well bernie says t-5's come with internal stops so you can just back yours all the way out or just remove them

thanks, I'll have to check it out when I get a chance

you dont need to with the T5 but..

if you still want to adjust them back the stops out most of the way, throw it into second. move the stop all the way up till it just touches the shift handle and lock it in place with the jam nut. then throw it into third(if you have forward stops) and do the same as second gear.

now you've adjusted your stops.:D

now you can do it on friends cars and they'll think you are amazing! lol....and charge them 25 bucks.;)
