I'm gonna try the ECU on mine as well, as soon as I get some extra chump change. I have done some research and from all accounts the replacement for the A9L from any of the parts stores is infact an A9L. I have yet to buy on and confirm but at $94 from autozone I think I'm going to take a chance. The bad thing is the core should I decide to keep mine its like $75 or something. So I may buy it, try it, and keep or return it but its a special order so I will check the return policy first. I've changed everything else so this is next....

i would just converit to carb. you have had so many problems with that thing. carb would get rid of all the sensors and other crap.. you might even make a proft selling all your fi stuff on ebay. all you need is a carb and intake manifold right?

Carb would be the easy way out, but as far as I know I would need the carb, intake, distributor, fuel pump bypass or an expensive regulator, a different fuel pump if I didn't go the regulator route, and wiring the ignition up. Not to mention the loss of value if/when I sold the car. And besides I don't like when mechanical/electrical things beat me, its just not cool lol.
