Good thing your not converting it.
Capris and 4 eyed Mustangs are getting harder to find.

Even if you did convert the car it is still a Capri. If someone thinks that the capri is something stupid show them different. OOO and wait don't forget you couldn't completely change over anyway because your quarter panels are flared out. Mustangs just have the lips of the quarters flared.

Ya, well I am either going to keep the way it is or sell it. Here is the link if interested: http://milwaukee.craigslist.org/cto/908885085.html

Especially after looking at your pictures I'm glad you have decided not to change it over that is one of the most complete and original 5.0 RS Capris I have seen in a long time. TRX package and leather to boot! If you do sell I hope it goes to someone who will appreciate the car for what it is. I think you shoud keep it and restore it I'm sure Capri Debris could guide you along. Too bad I'm broke, don't have room and live half a world away I'd love to have that car!

My old 80 Capri

Thanks for all the compliments. I picked the car up from some guy who was the original owner, the car has 52,000 miles on it and has been stored for the past 20 years. He claims to have started it everyday, and drove it once a week for those 20 years. I have a question however, I do plan on modifying the car. I am not going to do anything to the interior or the body but just to the engine. Is there anything I do not want to touch that will affect the value of the car?

That Capri has alot of potential....leave it a Capri. I can assure you that if you showed up to a car show with that car w/new fresh coat of paint(original color and graphic scheme) it would get ALOT of attention.
