I Just had it replaced a few days ago because it broke on me and it was working fine and now today after driving for 15 mins it wouldn't go into first.turned it off and then was able to but when i shifted out it wouldn't go back in and then 2nd was hard to get into.I pulled the petal up to see if it was adjusted and it couldn't go up anymore.there was never a problem before the cable broke. any suggestions?

its just a stock replacement.had a local car dealership put it in.

Had that problem once...we pulled everything back apart and come to find out the clutch disk wasnt moving on the input shaft like it was supposed to....there was some junk in the splines of it, we cleaned it up threw it back together and it was good as new.

easy adjustment, pushed the petal half way down and held the quadrant with my other hand and pulled the petal up and got a click or two out of it.it works better then ever before reverse doesn't even grind anymore
