Default Axle Shaft Differences

Hey Guys,

My friend schmucked a curb in his 99 GT. We have it apart in my garage and I just wanted to make sure that a V6 axle is the same. I seen on MPS Auto Salvage's site that they show the V6 and GT's are the same, but I'd like to hear you guy's input. An axle we found on eBay says it's for a 7.5" rear end. I'm pretty sure the 7.5 and 8.8 were the same, 28 spline, 30" etc...

I know on the foxes they are between the 7.5 and 8.8...TIA

Well I know it's five lug ya big goof! I was just saying that the fox 7.5 axles fit in the 8.8 like you said. I have it apart in my garage right now. I just was making sure that the new edge 7.5 axles would fit in the new edge 8.8.
