Default Basic Info re: 87-93 auto Mustang

I am looking into acquiring one of these cars, most likely in the LX Trim, not converitble.

Was wondering what type of 0-60 and quarter miles to expect.

Also, what are the recco'd mods to get it from stock form to <6 0-60 and <14.00 down the 1/4 mile?

not sure on the 0-60.

quarter mile though its usually a good driver can run high14's to low 15's stock and with an aod, probably high 15's

a good set of gears (3.9-4.10, one of the two will be great), upper and lower arms, subframes, sticky tires, and a few bolt ons for the motor and you should dip down into 13's (maybe not with the auto)

the suspension, tires and gears will all help your 0-60 time as well

But if you get the gears, shift kit and a higher stall torque converter on the AOD you can be running faster than the sticks.

This website will give all the info on our cars: http://www.mustanggt.org/main.htm

With some suspension work and bolt ons you will see 13's

are you getting a auto or a stick?

Dont agree. Get the same gears and the 5 speed is faster if the driver is very good. All auto's make less rwhp.
