Default performer rpm vs victor jr on a 347?

i just ordered a 347 short from woody but im having a little prob deciding on heads. i have a set of performer rpm heads with the 2.02 intake valves. but then my friend has a set of ported edelbrock victor jrs he wants to trade me. would the victors out perform the rpms. its gunna be a high rev motor long with a either victor intake or a holley.

I WOULD THEN GO WITH THE VICTOR SET UP AS IT WAS DESIGNED TO FLOW AND OPERATE AT A HIGHER RPM RANGE THAN the rpm stuff.....but first what do you define as high reving??

6500 isn't that high as the victor stuff goes to 8k....I'm carbed but run an rpm air gap intake and a xe282hr cam and pull 6500 easy with 185 cc heads.....victor heads wouldn't be a bad choice..it'll allow combo for future growth

i would be affraid to take a stock block and cast crank over 7k lol. you think i will make more power with the victors over the rpms. and im also still stuck on a cam choice. its either one of the afm cams, xe282hr or a custom ground from fti.

the vic jrs would make more power. however the cam choice would be critical. As fas as the intake i would go with a matching eddy intake or trickflow R over the holley
