Default 1.7 rockers

hey i wanted to make sure the 1.7 rockers from a 460 would fit on my 5.0 with no issues, so any reassurance would be nice. thanks

Well, they will, but you should change some other things in there as well or else they won't work. unless you currently have 1.7 rr's then i believe you need to change the rods (i think thats it) so they have can actually perform properly.

SOOO, to my knowledge you can but some changing out of other parts will be required.

i'm not sure about that, i've never heard about having to change your pushrods in order for the rockers to work... the reason ypu put 1.7's on is to get more lift with your current setup, why would you change rods?

because they need more leverage to be able to allow the complete movement. It's like on a seesaw, if it is longer it needs to be pushed farther up to make it be able to move all the other side all the way down if it is longer. This was just a guess as perhaps when I was told this it was in comparison between 1.6 RR and 1.7 RR's

thats what i thought. cause what would be the point of putting new rr's on if you're gonna try and change the pivot action of them with the wrong pushrods?
the point of different ratio rr's is to ues the same cam lift w/the same pushrods and change the valve lift.....
