it depends u can get gt40 heads for about 300 bucks and a cam bout 200 and new lifters 100 bucks and new vavle springs 150

89stang0890 11-11-2008 01:06 PM

are you supposed to get all of that at one time?

depends on what your definition of good is????..mine is .......skip over all the factory produced heads and go straight to aluminum but that coupled with a matched combo can be 1500.00+....but define what your goal is with a build first and then that'll dictate what type of parts are recommended:)

i'm not sure. I mean, right now, my car is basically stock. but i want to improve the sound and performance. I'll still be using the car as a daily driver. Right now its just everyday stuff like to school and work and such, but next year it'll be to and from college, so nothing to extreme.

but like said what kind of budget do u have ?

primetime5.0 11-11-2008 11:26 PM

my heads were 1400$, cam was 260$

just turned 18 sat...and got $985. have a job and can save $200-$400 a month. so idk how much that really helps. was gonna buy a hood..but would rather spend it on beneath the hood.

so do a budget setup, gt40 heads, tfs1 cam, gt40 intake
