Default Best Heads?

Hey guys,

I have a 93 lx, and looking to upgrade my stock heads. I'm debating between the AFR 165's And Trick Flows Twisted Wedge Heads. Is anyone using either set? And what would you recommend? Or better yet is there another set of heads anyone would recommend? I'm just looking for a good set of heads that will increase the cars performance.

if you have the money, trickflow twisted wedge heads are probably the best

love my AFRs, can't beat the quality for the money. The CNC milling and port work is awesome. the AFRs are more money but there's also more work put into them. The trickflow twisted wedge is a really good head too.

I love afr's, but ive also had twisted wedge. Both are great, but my afr's are 185cc heads which are just a little bit better for what i have so that compared to 165 is a little diff. I'd say whichever is within your budget both are awesome heads.

The point is, usually any performance aftermarket head(not patriot or procomp) will help make big power. I like my Twisted Wedge heads. I would have gone w/AFR's, but the TrickFlow's were about $300 cheaper. I have been satisifed with the performance of the heads.

Awesome! Thanks for all of your help and opinions. I think I'm going to go with the Twisted Wedges. I did a bit of research and as some of you have already told me the Twisted heads are a few hundred cheaper, and I have a budget to stay within. Thanks guys!
