how do you gain 200hp? you must think all 350s are power houses lol. **** ive seenthem with 140hp and some with great numbers. so point is no gain to do this swap just hick rights. you can build a 5litre block or a 5.8 block just as well

Sorry, you will gain AT LEAST 200HP. Because 5.0's have VERY VERY low power. Show me a new 350 with 140hp. A low grade cheap crate motor is over 350hp. But I guess its still no gain.[sm=headbang.gif]

late 70s to early 80s 350s how about that or the 170hp vette of 1980?
and where do you come off with stangs have very low power? i guess youre new to mustangs then. and youre still not gaining 200hp. 5.0s got 225 so no 350 has 425 stock.

don't rag the guy because he wants something different..I would use an engine plate and a 350 short shaft turbo trans. you may use the intank fuel pump with a 7 psi regulator and just run some new aluminum lines to a carb. I would just get a flaming river manaul quick rack.....the steering shift will be fun....you will have to rewire a lil bit on the alt.

And I said new 350. Yes the 350 crate motors are well OVER 400hp. Yes I am new to Mustangs. Always had an LS1 Vette. [sm=drooldude.gif]
Sorry to say the 5.0 is very low power. 225hp when some small V6's have near 300hp and beyond.
