I went with a Timken TOB because bearings is what they do and I heard they last a long time. the OE ford one could be a good bet too, but every Mustang seems to have a TOB problem.

I have replaced 3 TOB's in the past year, getting ready to replace another. Tried Ford, Center Force, Advance Auto. Contacted D&D and decided to try one of theirs and change out bearing retainer on transmission with the steel one, a new pilot brng and new clutch fork. Also replacing clutch quadrant, cable and firewall adjuster from Steeda. I'm staying with the same clutch though. Center Force Dual Friction. Damn good clutch.

Its not you throw out bearing. If you had your clutch pedal in and it made the noise it would be your throw out bearing. If it is making noise when your foot is not on the clutch it is your PILOT bearing. Although when changing either you should change both because all is apart. and if your getting it done vs. doing it your self then they will probably both be replaced anyways.
