if i REST my foot in the clutch pedal, not pressing the pedal in, but kinda like taking up any slack in the pedal the sound goes away.. its not loud, notice it mostly at night if im sitting at a light

Yea, that sounds like a throw bearing. My buddy has the exact same problem as you, he's replacing his clutch this winter.
+1 more for the TOB, my car did the same thing also. Make sure you buy a quality bearing and don't use the one that comes in the clutch kit, unless you want the same problem in another 500 miles.
Ummm quick temp fix... If you have an adjustible cable or even a firewall adjuster just tighten the cable alittle will make them quite most of the time.

I have the FRPP KC clutch kit in my room, thier TOB is junk? if it is mind letting me know what a good TOB is?
