Default stupid question but let me know

changin the oil in the 5.0 for the frst time today and i was wondering how many quarts it takes i know how many the sixer takes but not the 5.0 ........so how many is it before i go buy some and get too few or too many

both drain plugs? are you joking me? i feel like it may be a poke at my newbness to teh 5.0 oh well goin to pick some up i figured it would take more than 5 quarts thts what my sixxer take

double hump oil pan- theres one forward of the swaybar, one behind it. front one holds more then you think, so dont just say "screw it"

ahh i see goin to run back to the store found a k&n on it only problem is its so black and oily like someone just assumed spraying it with oil is all it needed gotta go get the recharger gotta do mine anyway slowly workin my way to the oil btw worst placement of the IAC ever on this thing pain in the *** to get on and off

nd holy schrap just took the intake tube off the back of the MAF assembly and found one of those tornado things that used to always be on tv wow crazy stuffs its like im treasure hunting

What the heck is that for??

oh, and when you unscrew that front drain plug, watch out cause the oil likes to go every where. even if you unscrew it last...(which I suggest.)
I don't see why they didn't put the thing on the BOTTOM of the pan instead of the sidewall. Ford thinking at its best right there.

it suposedly makes a vortex in the intake and provides a better ir/fuel mixture BS anyway everything went al right except i hate the placement of the odd frame brace from the subframe tp the k member maybe it a vert thing.... either way having the oil drain through it makes a bit of a mess nd im assuming its the PCV thats off the oil fill spout that hoses directly into the intake?
