Heater Core Good or Bad?
#12
Sorry to hurt your feelings but I like that the 4 eyed dash is alot simpler to get thru than the 87+ is. It sucks I still have the same heater box you do because my car came with AC so I still have to drop the heater box but I just have to pull out my glove box to get to everything to drop it down enough to get the cover for the core off.
I had to pull my dash anyway to get my heating vents back into the car if it makes you feel any better lol. But that still is only 2 screws and 2 bolts that hold the main piece to the car (on mine at least, I made it as easy as possible for future pulls).

REPLACE
Heater cores usually DOES NOT show any corrosion unless something "WET" has been doing it, aka GLYCOL&H2O, AND OPEN AIR.
BTW I need a new one, and you just hurt my feelings with your SIMPLER PROCEDURE : (, as I am gonna go through hell.
But im thinking of also painting the dash while its out as well.

I'm a perfect example for poor man racing lol. I don't even want to spend the $20 on a heater core! I go to the junk yard for pretty much every part that I can (within reason)
Thanks for all the reply's by the way
