Underdrive pully's

If I've got a speaker system with upgraded alternator, and power steering and smog pumps, if i were to get underdrive pully's would that be hurting my daily driving? By that i mean, will it have worse steering, and to have the lights and sound on at same time would it bog down the power??? Or will that not really occur to that extent with underdrive pully's?

i dont think it will have a noticeable effect, i have bbk pulleys on my daily driver ands its all good

it shouldnt be a problem but id spend the money on something that will get you better gains then pulleys

Well, as of so far i have all the engine parts, the next thing would be pully's, suspension, and frame work. But I will be doing the suspension and framework as a large package and combination work period to do it all at once. + the pully's aren't that expensive and mine are still the stock pully's, everything else enginewise isn't stock at all.

I've used underdrive pulleys in several different cars in traffic, heat and all sorts of conditions with no ill effects whatsoever. The only concern I would have would be your sound system. If it's not over about 120 Watts RMS I wouldn't be concerned about it.

oh ok, suspension is what i had in mind for you but if you have future plans for that then go for the pulleys. if you find out that the alt is struggling once the kit is on, you can always take the UD alt pulley off and just run the crank and water pump and see how the alt does
