Default EGR Issue

I'm getting a code from the computer that is stating low voltage to the EGR circuit. I'm not sure if I should replace the EGR valve or start digging into the wiring. Any advice on this would be appreciated!! I hate to just throw parts at it if that isn't the problem. This problem doesn't seem to effect how the car runs.

EGR? You mean you still have that heavy garbage installed in your car? Just take it all out and run without it. Then either buy (or build) the resistors you'll need to trick the computer into thinking everything is all set.

That is a pretty good idea!! As long as there is no code it will still pass emissions in january.
