Default help Identify heads

I pulled the vcs off my unknown edelbrocks and found a pedestal mounted '6205'. Are these 2.02 or 1.9?? I havnt looked at the front of the head yet but if I have to I will..

So far the combo is :

Cobra intake with 1' spacer
Edelbrock 6205 heads
Scorpion 1.6 rrs
Unknown valve springs
Unknown cam
Mac lts thatre getting switched for bbks

While I'm in here do you think I would gain anything to switch these 1.6 scorpions to 1.72 scorpions I have laying around??

Would you gain anything sure but not much if any then you have to check for PTV clearance. I would just sell them and put the money into something else. Especially since you don't know what cam or the specs of it and what springs you have.

yea you would gain some, and you shouldnt always need to check ptv. if you have the correct springs for the lift you're going to achieve then it should be fine as long as the cam is installed normally instead of retarding or advancing it.
if you wanna know the valve size...... why not get a good accurate ruler?

...Sure its not "6025"?? ...I use to run the 6022's, 6025's have a bigger intake valve, 2.02 I believe....6022's have a 1.90 intake for sure! ....1.60 on the exhaust for both!check this link: http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku
