Default tops out at 110

in 1982 I got a speeding ticket for 165 in a 55 yes 165 they chased me for over an hour has to stop as my undercoating was burning..man they tore up my interior looking for drugs their was none and I sued the city of charleston for 25k and won it. they even double hand cuffed me which was odd hell one is enough coarse then I was a big boy, they have the chaplin write the ticket still have the ticket today this was in a 79 z-28 302 chevy, 2 fours and a 8800 red line... lost my lisences for 6 month and they came and got the tags,inspection sticker off the car and was home impounded for 1 year<img border="0" src=smileys/smiley6.gif border="0">

Sounds like a similar story to what happend to me at one time. I was in a stock 92 Taurus SHO and another SHO but a modded 91 we were racing but it was on the freeway not 55 mph lol. Two cops chased us for a few miles, we didnt even see there lights or nothing we were so far ahead. Then when we started slowing down for the off ramp one cop gets in front of my friend and one behind us. Cant remember if they had there gunsout or not. We were for sure going 140 and my friend prolly 150+.Ticket for 85 mph.Some cops are nice <IMG src=smileys/smiley16.gif border="0">

I had to go before a DMV review board alot of bs...that car would run I bought it new in 80 brought it home and pulled the engine,trans,rear my dad about **** put in a 12k 302 chevy this was in 80 I saved for a year to build that engine..had a sweet 660 lift roller in it alum brodix heads with 2.08 valves 2" long tube headers that were tuned with 3 " exhuast..car was lowered 1" and the stock spoiler was shaved and laid back about 10 degrees if memory serves me right. I still have the engine it's in dad's 67 which it came out of. it had a 300 shot on it from NOS. has a special msd dist accute to 12,000 rpms with a crank trigger<edited><editID>vfast</editID><editDate>37936.8664930556</editDate></edited>

Hey guys I am the one who was having the problem with toping out at 110MPH and I rebuilt my tranny and put a shift kit in it and I got it up to 140MPH and I let off because it just felt weird and you dont have to worry about me doing this on the street I race autocross and we get to use a old airport runway to race on and thats where I test my car thanks for the help
