Default NEEDING SOME ADVICE 347

. This engine has less than 500mi on it and runs far better and stronger
than anything I ever had and I have had about 8 stangs in the last
couple of years, none like this one though. Go AFR or Trickflow
or keep the Edelbrock's and get them worked over.....The
motor is a 347 stroker and I am going with more aggressive
bigger cam and I am wondering the best route for the heads
being that I am not going to mess with them unless I can get l
ike 75-100hp which by the way I have red the the AFR 185's
on a 331 increased the power output by 100hp beleive they
were the competition set though and Anderson has the
WOW Trickflows that they dynoed with that 347 and blower
and got like 758rwhp, no blower for me but they told me I would
be around 550 at the crank with those heads and one of those big
cams I got....just needing some input on which way to go....

I would go AFR but I doubt any of the set ups will give you a 100 hp at the wheels above and beyond what you already have, but given the right combo of partsanything is possible

Yeah the 100hp thing was over stock head compared
to the AFR heads but what's the increase you think over the
Performer I have now and what if the Performers are
ported if it's remotely close I ain't going to mess with it.
I ain't going to spend 2500 to get 40hp increase when I can
spend 500 and get 150 with some juice,I can put the money in the suspension...

There Performer's think they where out awhile ago
the car was in storage for awhile all they say is Edelbrock Performer
on them and there aluminum heads...and the O.E. # which I
believe means there emission legal.
