retorquing lower intake after running engine
#13
i had to retorque mine because after my spring install i put the whole top end back together. i ran it for a week and the back of my instake leaking. i just decided to check the bolts just in case, they are finger tight. i retorqued and havent had a leak since. i still run iron E7's for now.
maybe just a freak incident but i had to retorque mine down cause of a leak. hasnt since.
edit: i did use the chilton for the TQ specs and sequence, went half the TQ recommendation first sequence then recommended TQ specs second sequence and went through a third time just to make sure. still had my leak until i retorqued the sequence once more.

This is perfect. When I first read about this re-torquing stuff i was like they can't possibly re-torque everything before selling the vehicles. That's just ridiculous.

I did that when I built my engine. Just went back and "snugged" them a few times with time inbetween snugs...in the right order yet though...never retorqued either.

Is it what you're threading or threading into? 25 is high for explorer LIM torque
