Spider gears help!!!!!!
#12
Did you measure the thickness of your clutch packs (including shims). If your clutch pack is too thick, you'll never get the spider gears in. Here's a video explaining exactly how to measure them, and what the specs should be. I set mine up a little tight, and it was hard to get the spider gears in, but the unit works great this way. If the diff is out of the rear, you can also use 2 bolts, with 4 large washers and 2 nuts, to compress the side gears against the housing while you work the spider gears in. First you need to check the thickness of your clutch packs.

your problem is you are using too thick a shim, the kit usually comes with a .030, .035 and a .040 shim for both the side gears....find out which one you are using with a vernier caliper....usually the new ones are labeled....anyway use the next size down and reassemble until you can roll them in
