Today I got a star from a dumb dump truck that was passing by.

I will just get a window place to fix it, but after awhile I might have to get a new front window.

Does anybody know how much the window costs and how much it usually is to install?

when my 86 GT needed a new front winshield it cost me around 190.00 including install and they came to me. not to bad.

if you look around you can get one as cheap as 100 bucks installed. especially since you have an older mustang. my windshield just cracked on my 94 gt and i had it installed for 100 bucks. so shop around and don't settle on any one place. but for sure you can get one for 200 bucks and below.

i was also quoted a 100$ for a new windshield but i also get a discount at a local glass shop

Yeah front windshields are cheap, got mine installed for about a 100 too.
