tire question
hey guys I have a 347 getting finished up this week by auto machine specialties in fresno cali =] and I need some new rubber. I currently have some 17x9 frpp cobra r's w/ 245/45's up front and 255/45 in back. problem is, my 245s are bald while my rears are brand new basically, and I NEED better rubber than that in the back. I want to put some 275/40's in back but Im afraid moving the 255's up to the front will rub too much to be able to safely use them. can anyone offer some knowledge on how far I can turn the wheel, I can barely pull a U at an intersection with the 245/45's I still want to be able too if possible. I havent done anything to adjust height either (lowering, etc.)

I think it is funny to hear that people have 2 tires that are bald and 2 that are good. Everyone knows what was going on but has anyone ever heard of the words ROTATE ROTATE ROTATE? lol.
I know its kinda funny with different size tires in the rear but still lol.

yeah, 17x9's all the way around. I rubbed a bit on the front inner ww's with 245/45/17's.. I dont mind a little rub since it was like an inch from full turn lock, so thats good to know. my car sits a lil high, not enough to make it look weird but it transfers weight well.

haha its funny you say that, cause thats the reason the other two 245's are bald ;]. nah Im not sure if I am misreading your post, but if I put the 255's up front I plan on getting some 275/40's for the back.
