I welded the seams for the uppers, and the top plate for the lower reinforcements,
my torque boxes havent bent up any more since I put them in.

normally that plate you are reffering to are needed when welding in full length sub frames, i have them but i also welded up all my seams

its hard to see but if you follow the SFC all the way to where the LCA starts you can see the plate.


that picture was like last spring i think...

im puttin those in this winter/spring ish. i figured itd be a good idea since i'd be running a DR full time and slicks at the track.

That is just normal torque box reinforcing but thanks.

fivepointohh, I guess that I will be doing it then in the future since I am going to be getting full length SFC when I get them.

the next thing I'm probably gonna do (after the trans. swap of course) is put in an aluminum driveshaft and the safety loop

boys i had my whole damn LCA rip out of my car, i never bought the kit like you guys are referring to, but i plan too now that i see what you all have done. dont wanna steal the thread, but how much does this kit cost?

you can get the u/l with bolts from UPR for like 160. i also ebay has some really nice deals for >100 dollars. if you cant afford it at least weld up your seams, thats free if you have a welder or maybe 30 bucks at the most at a shop and you can do the kit later.
