if you are just lookin into cheapest just slap it on and be done would be GT40/GT40p's

if you are lookin at doing some head work and you get the heads cheap like i did...

60's 289 heads with 52cc heart shaped chambers that are ported, bigger valves and bowl work will up your compression to 10:1 10.5:1 ish which would be good hp jump

or 351 heads i think its D00E heads IIRC.

well if you're going for a stock look you could port the hell out of the stock E7's and get em flowin almost equal to gt-40's. i think it's funny to see the look on peoples faces when they see stock stuff and you just spanked their car

yep, I agree. You can make E7's flow pretty good. Lot's of meat in those heads

They seem to flow the best with the 1.94s

what size chamber are your heads? if you already have some 289's with the smaller heart shaped cylinder you can work those pretty cheap and install biger valves and get a nice jump in performance.

Why anyone would spend the money or time on an E7 is beyond me when you can grab a gt40 for 300 bucks

i dont think that dollar for dollar you can make as good a head out of the e7 as the gt40p i could be wrong but i read in 5.0 mag that gt40p produced 25 hp stock over worked e7's on a mustang they built
