I am currently switching my 89 LX 302 from FI to Carb. I have already did the swap and wondering what I need to do as far as fuel? I put a manual fuel pump on my motor when I rebuilt it but now wondering what I need to do as far as my gas tank? Will a manual pump on motor work fine with a carb set up? will i need to change anything in my tank? Any suggestions.....thanks

mech pump will work fine, I removed my intank pump and put a pick up tube in place of it and it worked fine, I also ran -8an line from tank up to carb but then again I planned on higher hp motor later so volume was a necessity...you can tie in and use stock line or run your own 3/8 line, I ran an elec pump but then again I was planning for no2 later

I ran a 461 cubic inch Big Block Chevy in my Chevelle years ago. It made over 600 hp using a Victor Mechanical pump. I put a fuel pump ecentric in my 347 just in case I wanted to put a manual pump on it. I'm getting where I like things really simple.
