i cant explain it any better, the rod attaches to the part that has the ball on the end that hooks to the cable, the rod runs through the t/b up to the tps,it has the blade on it,where the rod hooks to the plate that has the ball end on it,it looks like its pressed on it,it has slack in it,i can unhook the cable and it still moves,it has nothing to do with the cable,it is the plate that has the ball on it,right under the spring on the trottle body, the throttle body is a maybe a year or 2 old,the rod and that plate arent one piece,it is either pressed on or it was welded, and mine is loose.

I know what your talking about but apparently im not typing what you want to see...And every tb i've ever seen that shaft has been one piece..IMHO If it was my **** it would already been in the trash and a new one on order. But just take it apart and super glue,jb weld, silicone the **** out of it..I give up..

its not the shaft its where the shaft and the plate at the bottom meet.its not one piece,it has to be either welded or pressed on.the stock one the part im talkin about the shaft is welded to that plate.
