Alright so i just bought a 89 5.0 from my brother's friend and i have been working on it for the past 2 days so i can get it on the road. well its about 99% ready and i got two other things to fix before it can get on the road, and im clueless about it, first off, my headlights didnt work (i thought) when i would push the button to turn them on they wouldn't come on, but the parking lights came on, somehow when i accedentally pushed on the headlight button it came on! i was so excited so i turned them off and tried to turn them on again... nothing.. so i gave up and im stuck now, what i did notice is that the two button's "parking light, headlight" console is loose, so im guessing its a short but idk how to fix it. My last problem is my horn. Okay I checked every damn fuse about 5 times and none of them were blown, and my horn still will not cooperate. please help guys i want my 5.0 on the road!

you need to locate the horn out under the front bumper area and check to see if it has power and ground, a test light will suffice ..if it does = most likely a bad horn.....as for the headlights, pull the switch out and check for loose connection or overheated pin connections
