i'm pretty sure i connected all vacum lines and at idle and through acceleration i dion't hear a hissing / whining noise. would that make it miss?

can't tell yet everything is still clean. also when i set the timing then put that chip thing on the distributer back in it jumps and advances way off where i set it and starts running real rough. is this normal?

thanks for your help i apreciate it. i just want this thing to run right. maybe it will just never be the same.
