I have that same cam in my stroker and it is awesome! I sort of wish I went bigger with the 284 though...

Your going to have to check piston to valve clearance with that cam. Your also going to have to get the spring seats machined on those heads to use that cam. Aftermarket springs for that kind of lift won't be able to be installed at the proper height without machining the seats.

back in the day i ran the motorsport x-cam with the factory sled rockers and at 542 lift they were fine. ptv clearance wasnt an issue either. they say the sleds are good to 550 lift so i was right on the edge.

The exhaust lift is 565 and the intake is 555, but it's the duration that people over look when thinking about PTV clearance...CHECK IT.
