that what i figured, i've Heard of people using just the oversize rings and i just had a feeling it wouldn't last
in fact i had a guy try to sell me a shortblock he rebuilt with stock pistons and oversized rings...... glad i knew about that before

It would sound like a busted chainsaw, all 8 pistons slapping around in the bores at the same time!.
