Is the 93 cobra upper much better than the explorer?

I am finding conflicting data on them. That is why I was asking.

There is not much difference in them but I was wondering if a cobra upper would be worth it.

There may be a couple of differences in the lower from an explorer vs a cobra. EGR port, (small round hole in the center of the runners), EGR coolant hose thread, and possibly the ACT sensor may need to be drilled and tapped.

Other than that, they should bolt up.

if the cobra and gt40 were both $200, id pick the cobra, but if the cobra was more expensive id grab the gt40. the cobra flows slightly better, but not enough to spend alot more money on vs the explorer.

I found a used cobra upper for $150 on craigslist and it is 100 miles away. I may be best to go all explorer then.
