ok so im in the process of repainting my engine bay and while the motor is out i want to upgrade my brake booster for when i do the disc conversion in the back. right now i have 5 lug with 13inch rotors up front with cobra calipers. my question is can i keep the fox brake booster and run a sn95 or 93 cobra master cylinder? or do i have to change the whole booster?

I believe your going to want a new booster too, ive heard the 93 cobra one works well

I didn't replace mine but it could probbaly use a bigger booster...

what booster would be recommended? i plan to do the same thing.

with the 1" 1993 cobra mc believe it or not but lots of folks report touchy pedal if upgraded booster is used... it does not actualy make your brakes better... if you have a larger mc like svo sized 1 1/8 then yes its harder to push a larger mc bore so perhaps upgrade booster...

I have had a few cars with manual brakes drum and disc too, booster just helps you push but can be far too touchy its my opinion to err on the side of not enough booster because heck many cars have come with no booster and some hate too much boost they say it takes away fine control, I mostly hear road racer type complain about that
