those uppers and lowers wont match up, the exploder intake is basically a GT40 intake. the 94 intake will work ok and clear your stock hood. if you want to go with a different manifold, look into a TFS track heat or an Edelbrock RPM II manifold. the stock intake leaves a lot to be desired. any luck picking out a cam yet?

Well, I have the explorer intake already so I am not looking for a new/different intake. I just have both the stock intake and the explorer intake so I was just wondering which one would be better. The only reason I was wondering if I could use the regular lower intake was so I wouldnt have to drill and tap the explorer intake for the temp sensor. So I am just wondering which intake is better the explorer or stock? And for the cam, I dont really know much about which cam would be the best so I am open to suggestions.

So I should just take and sell the stock intake and take and drill and tap the place for that sensor?? Any idea how hard that would be to do?
