Default witch diff locker to get?

looking at getting a locker for my 8.8(cant stand not having 1st or 2nd without burning out). judt looking for suggestion.

I've had both an Auburn Pro & Eaton...Both excellent IMO! ...I'd lean towards the Eaton

what do you mean 1st or 2nd without burning out??

and as far as diff's go just rebuild yours with carbon clutches. or get the 31 spline stock unit that already has carbon clutches. no point buying an eaton or auborn if its a street car imo

i have a detroit locker in my 07 f150. the truck is my daily driver and i dont have any driveability issues with it. i orriginally bought it for my stang but i think im going to put a spool in the stang

Detroit True Trac if you're getting a new unit. It's a helical worm gear type limited slip. It basically locks up in a straight line and provides limited slip type differentiation in a turn, only it doesn't have clutches to wear out. Otherwise, rebuild yours with carbon clutches.

+1 im running the tru-trac it was cheaper than the other diff's out there and is stronger

Yeah, that's what came in the 03/04 cobras. Carbon fiber. That's what I run in my trac lok.
