supercharger?

Most of those good deals you see on turbo kits aren't really deals. It's best to try to find out why the costs are low, whether it's low grade metal used, incomplete plumbing or whatever. Most cheap/ebay kits do not come with the fuel/airfuel metering parts required for the kit to work.
As for driving comparison. I may seem like a bad example of comparing them. I keep telling myself I'm going to build a roots car for myself but i keep going turbo. I won't argue the turbo will make the car faster, but the roots imo makes a more fun car to drive. When building turbo kits for people as opposed to the roots I'm more excited about the roots car test drive than turbo. The instant power is nice.
Either way both are fun imo.
Another plus on the roots is when using a bypass valve with it, fuel economy hardly takes a hit when cruising because it doesn't compress the air internally, the air is compressed in the intake manifold. When equipped with a bypass valve to equalize the pressures (before & after the s/c), the supercharger acts like it is freewheeling so it takes less than a hp to turn.

im not talking ebay it was on the boost brothers website u can adjust that turbo from 6psi to 27 psi but you have to buy fuel injectors and fuel pump its almost worth it to turbo it for that price but who knows if fitting is an issue
