Default question about bypassing EGR valve

can i just cap off the egr valve and egr line till i get a egr delete kit. I already have the EGR coolant lines capped off, so since the EGR spacer is not being cooled, i don't want hot gases flowing through the intake. I also have the smog deleted.

Yep.... if you leave the EVP sensor connected and the vacuum line off and plugged, it is the equivalent to an EGR delete plug. As long as the EEC sees that the EVP sensor voltage doesn't change, the ECM will automatically delete the EGR function.
