So tonight I was driving the stang, and suddenly all the dash lights went out. All the exterior lights stayed on. The dash lights came back on, then after a few minutes went out again. It did this about 4 times. When they came back on, the rpm needle was bouncing. It doesn't bounce while the lights were on.

I just thought that it was weird. So my question is:

Is there any link between the dash lights and the bouncing rpm needle?

Clean the connector on the back of the dash panel. The connector may be falling out

So today the car did the same thing again. The lights went off and as I rev'd the lights came back on. You can see in the vid when the lights came back on the rpm needle was bouncing.

What's loose? Is it in the dash or by the gearbox?

Have the alternator checked.Also check for bad grounds also could have fuseable link going out.
