Default Life of a 94 GT

How long, on average will a 94 gt auto last? Considering average driving conditions. How long will it take for the engine and tranny to be rebuilt?

Rebuilding the engine and tranny together should take like 3 days.

Well i havent a clue about your GT but we have an old 84 F150 we use for hauling about any and everything you can like the ATV's tools other cars and what have you. Before we rebuilt it it had almost 200,000 on it and now after the rebuild which has been a few years theres almost 200,000 gain and it doesnt burn oil or anything and belive me we've whipped this trucks ***!

The rebuild consisted of all stock OEM replacement parts a .030 over bore .010 on the crank a valve job and a stock HO mustang cam nothing special but its reliable and always starts even in dead of winter.Fords in my oppinion are the best built vehicles around. All i own is fords and thats all i ever will own.

Mine has 160,000; with proper maintanence, the car will run well into the 200,000s. Rebuild will take about 5 days if its your first time, and you're not very privy to exactly how stuff works.

I have 94GT 5speed manual though.always ran it hard with 150K miles on it. No need for a tranny rebuild but i think i have some vacume leaks and fuel delivery problems. hopefully simple to fix.
