if u are doing new rods and pistons no reason not to stroke it then=347

If you are purchasing rods and pistons anyway then I can't see it adding up to much moer than the parts for a 302. The only place you'd really have to spend the extra dough is the crank.

I know the rods and pistons wouldn't be that bad but the crank would and I still want to do a hci swap... its like any car project it adds up. Basically Ill have about $2500 and im wondering the best way to spend it on the motor. Its got 140k on it and I can't decide If im better off rebuilding the block and just doing an intake or a cam on top of it and maybe just get the heads port and polished or what. Im just trying to think of what I should fo.

just do a h/c/i swap and maybe a set of rings and bearings and you'll be good.... should make around 300 rwhp...

stay 302 for now to remain within your budget, stroking it will require a different h/c/i
