i just bought my first mustang been a chevy guy.. got a bet for the spring with my buddy with a 89 gt that went 12.55 i need to get under that. what should i look into buying as far as i know the motor is stock its got some sort of shorties and exhaust and 4.11's or 373's in the rear not sure of that either guy i got it from said it was one of them.. and btw i need to keep it street and emissions legal

run a fully ported gt-40 h/c/i with a custom cam and matched springs, set the suspension up, some gears and have full exhaust and supporting mods and hide a little shot of NO2 and he'll never know what hit him
