Default Rim/Tire Help

I've decided to go with the summit 15" star wheels for my LX. I want my ride to have a good stance and was wondering what rim and tire size would be good combo. I dont know if i should go 15x8 or 15x10? Is it true that 15x10 need a 6.5 backspace? Please help me with a good combo. Thanks

15x8 5.5 backspace and 275/50/15 rears. You looking to run skinnies on the front or regular sized tires?
